SARAH AND CLAIRE’S FOOD DRIVE SCHOOL CHALLENGE
SEPT 28 – OCT 4th

Congratulations Northlea on being part of the Sarah and Claire’s Food Drive School Challenge!

OUR STORY

Sarah (a student at Northlea School) started this food drive when she was in Grade One, after hearing a story on the radio about Daily Bread Food Bank. It made her sad to hear that there were people who lived five minutes away from her that did not have food to eat. After hearing that story, she was determined to do something about it. Sarah, who is
now 16, has joined forces with her sister Claire, who is 12 to lead youth in getting involved with their food drive campaign. Read more about the story here.

ONLINE DONATION PAGE

In addition to the collection of non-perishable food items, we also have an online donation option. We have created a specific donation page for the NORTHLEA School Community. This is a great way to donate to Sarah and Claire’s Food Drive and also have your contributions count toward the School Challenge. Daily Bread considers every dollar donated as 1 pound of food. ($1=1 pound)
