The Northlea parent and guardian community is invited to attend CANVAS’ Gender Equity Parent Training Wednesday, April 21st. The training will be held over Zoom and will explore how gender impacts children’s relationships with themselves and others. Parents and educators will be provided with tools to engage in conversation and address issues related to consent, gender expression, and the influences of media and pornography.

CANVAS Arts Action Programs (CANVAS) is a non-profit organization that runs trainings to prevent gender-based and sexual violence, homophobia and transphobia.
