Every year Northlea participates in a Holiday Sharing Project. This year we have chosen to continue supporting the YWCA ARISE Shelter and we would like to ask all of you for your help.  For twenty nine years, each class at Northlea has adopted a specific family and prepared a Holiday Hamper for that family. This year we will be collecting food (necessities, e.g. canned goods, pasta, etc and treats), toiletries, gifts (gift cards, clothing, mitts, toys, etc). Each donation is a personal choice of what you would like to give. All we ask is that you do not wrap the gifts, so the mothers may do that themselves for their children. Through the generous support of the Northlea school community, our school helps more than 30 families each year.

Our class family is: a mom, a 3-year-old son, and a 7-year-old daughter.

Please send in your donations by Thursday, December 12th so that we will have time to organize the hamper before it is collected.

The Holiday Sharing Committee has already witnessed the generosity of the people in the Northlea community, so we hope that it is not too bold to thank you in advance for your kindness. This is a very worthwhile project and we are delighted to be part of it!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Sincerely,

Debbie Cranswick
