Make your vote count on the H&S Council for 2025/2026!

This year’s first Home & School Council meeting will be held in the Library this week. It will be on Thursday, October 9th, 2025 at 6:00 pm. There will also be a virtual link provided closer to the date.

The Executive team election will be held at this first meeting. Any parent, caregiver, or guardian who would like to nominate themselves or someone they would like to see as a Home & School Council Voting Member, please complete the School Council Parent Candidate Nomination form.  The form is due tomorrow to Suzy.

Northlea Home and School has the following elected executive positions always open for nomination; Chair/Co-Chair , Secretary, Treasurer. 

Any other positions on the H&S Council do not require a formal election process, and we are actively looking for people to fill the following positions; Fall Fair Chair/Lead (2026 school year) and Small Fundraising co-chair/co-lead. If you are interested in volunteering in any capacity please reach out to:  homeandschool@northleaschool.ca. If you would like to help out with a team or a fair, please reach out.

We are also looking for a new webmaster. The details to the role is here:

• Familiar with LAMP (Linux Apache MySQL PHP) web tech stack;
• Basic skills in Control Panel, including backup, restore files and database;
• WordPress backend administration including version upgrade, plugin installation/configuration/upgrade;
• DNS registration/renewal Monitoring cybersecurity
• Troubleshooting
